Showing a special interest in photography and painting from an early age, Jara Pascual has gone on to become a talented young artist, who enjoys creating in every way. From her oil paintings which are dominated by geometric forms and lively colours to her photos of individuals, architecture and landscapes, she combines dedication and creativity in all her pieces.
Having been brought up in Aragon, Spain, she has taken painting and music lessons from the age of five and started painting with oil colours at 11. From 2003 to 2007, she was member of the jury of a regional artistic competition.
She takes her inspiration from having lived and worked in Huesca, Barcelona, Rennes, Toulouse, Munich and Erlangen.
Since 2010, she has shaped and redacted a highly successful weblog in spanish language about expat life and its ways and detours in Germany’s south.
In 2013, she finally decided to publicly exhibit her works of art.
As I recently became a mother, I created a new platform to share my thoughts Ilse & Virginia.
